Seems so near,
Yet is just too far away

You cross all across the horizon
Just to find the land is barren

The lining behind the clouds turns to rust
While all you touch turns to dust

The fingers just scrape your goal
While the world just mocks your soul

The back of your head turns to black
It seem no longer you can take the flack

You look at the bottom of the glass
Hoping that the dream would last

Well you see her when you fall asleep
But never to touch and never to keep

Staring at the ceiling in the dark
Same old empty feeling in your heart

The fire that you fueled you turns to ash
As you prepare for the final dash

You Can go Right, go Left
But you Just can't
Let It Go.....

Chains To Break

Every attempt to break free
Ends up worse than before

Bound by my own self
The chain seems in frangible

Feeding on the time passing by
Like moths dancing by the flame

You can't see them, the chains
Just a fool lashing wildly
Whilst he cries for help
Fainter than a whisper

Some mock, some show solace

Some regard, others regardless

All that is needed
A bit of compassion
But who has the time
Everybody got their own

Chains to break

The fool just looks out the abyss
Expecting his Beacon Of Salvation
